April 2016 Beer of the Month

Dear BOTM April Members, this month’s selection is form our staff member Jeremy. He personally selected the bomber brews and knows from experience that Mill Street always puts out a nice round of drinks for us ‘crafties’!

Bomber ESB

Honouring the classic British ESB, and celebrating the innovations of the Yakima Valley, our Extra Special Bitter seamlessly blends BC-grown barley and the Crystal Malts of Great Britain with North America’s most aromatic hops. This ESB is all about balance. ABV: 5.2% IBU: 40

Bomber Pilsner


Imported Czech Saaz hops provide the floral aroma and finish to our refreshing and clean-drinking lager, for the seasoned craft beer drinker or the team that wants a cold one after the game! ABV: 4.8% IBU: 28

Mill Street Organic Lager
This 100% all natural certified organic lager is Ontario’s first organic lager. Brewed with imported malt and hops, this 4.2% European-style lager offers a light, crisp and refreshing flavour, with a clean finish. ABV: 4.2% IBU: 11
Mill Street Wit
A refreshing beer made with a unique blend of ingredients. The soft texture and pale colour come from the use of wheat, coriander and orange peel. Our special yeast also produces the complexity and deep fruity flavour. Unfiltered, the resulting cloudiness gave rise to the term “Wit” or White beer. ABV: 5.0% IBU: 13
Mill Street Cobblestone Stout
We produce a traditional Irish-style stout that is served using nitrogen to produce that familiar creamy pour. We use a mix of flaked wheat and roasted barley to create the beer’s classic creamy, dark character. Select imported nugget bettering hops are used to dry out the finish of this ale. ABV: 4.2% IBU: 30
Parallel 49 – 187 on a Undercover Hop
Heavy on the lupulin, this Imperial IPA has a fruity citrus hop flavour & aroma, backed up by a slight sweet caramel flavour with an alcohol bite. ABV: 10% IBU 187
